I have been practicing in my hometown of Victoria since 1999. In 2000 and 2001 I sat on the Board of Directors of AIDS Vancouver Island and volunteered giving nutritional and lifestyle counselling to those with HIV and Hepatitis C.
Currently I have a full family practice with an emphasis on gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases including HIV and Hepatitis C, cancer, hormonal imbalances, fertility and pregnancy concerns; and food intolerances in children. I use nutritional counselling; nutritional supplementation; herbal medicine; homeopathy; IV therapeutics; massage; and craniosacral therapy in my practice. I also provide in office biomeridian food sensitivity testing. Dr. Anke Zimmermann is a naturopathic physician who specializes in classical homeopathy. She offers natural health care for the whole family and has special interests in body-mind medicine, auto-immune conditions and women's and children's health issues.
