BiVictoria is a peer-run support and social group. We offer a safe space to bisexuals, questioning and to all genders and orientations. BiVictoria has monthly support meeting on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Social Nights will be held periodically. Our meetings are held in room #B023 of the Student Union Building (SUB) at UVIC (Downstairs).

Type: Serves everyone, primarily bisexuals as well as the GLBT communities
Primary Clientele: Bisexual Men & Women, questioning, friends & supporters

We provide community support services in general. Originally targeted specifically at persons with acquired brain injury in a state of crisis, we also serve persons with a variety of conditions and disabilities to assist them in accessing the supports they need and deserve. Advocacy, to with government and other funding agencies is our forte. Our client funders have included ICBC, WCB, Public Guardian Trustee, VIHA, lawyers, etc.. Gay positive, gay friendly we look forward to hearing from you.

Transcend's purpose is to address the systemic social, political, and economic conditions that negatively affect transgender people, intersex people, and our family members. Transcend provides individual advocacy and support, including a monthly drop-in peer support group. The Speakers Bureau offers presentations on gender diversity and social, medical, and legal issues. The website includes a 200 page resource directory with information about basic issues, explanations of how government and medical bureaucracies work, listings of service providers, and self-advocacy tips.

Victoria Queer Parents is a parenting group for members of the GLBT community in southern Vancouver Island who are considering becoming parents, are expecting, or are parenting babies and toddlers. Victoria Queer Parents is intended to provide opportunities to meet other queer parents for socialization and peer support; to have a forum for discussion of queer parenting issues; and to explore educational topics relevant to the group’s interests.

North Island Gay Support Line is a confidential, discreet service for gay, two-spirited, and bisexual men to connect in the Northern Vancouver Island areas. It provides counselling, resource information, and support for those men wishing to connect in various areas such as Comox Valley / Courtenay, Campbell River, Port McNeill, Port Hardy and other small communities in the North Island area. You may call on weeknights from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and no late nights calls are accepted.
